As a Christian I am glad to not have to follow the O.T. Law but I am constantly challenged by the thought that God knew it was a good idea for His people to live by these decrees. And yes that includes Leviticus! Not only that but Jesus Himself has set a much higher standard a “fullfillment of the Law” which is not only visible to the eye but invisible i.e. our thoughts, motives and desires. I definitely need more of God and less of me!
